My Little Pirates

My babies are getting so big. Mallie went to the doctor today with another ear infection and weighed in at 28 pounds and 33 inches. She is going to catch her big brother soon. He is like 34 pounds and 39 or so inches. Only about 6 more either way and she has him. Reid had school today and she gave us an update on his learning. He already knows all of his letters and the sound each letter makes. He also can read 24 words!! Way to go bubby. This is only with four hours of school a week and a few videos at home. Well the count down begins for birthday time and the Garver's arrival to MO!!

A Visit to Coco Keys

This past weekend my brother, wife, and girls invited us to go to this new indoor water park. We had a great time, even though it takes a lot of work with two little ones. Reid loved going down the slides, the lazy river, and shooting the water guns. Mallie liked the slides a little, but she was mainly taking it all in and watching people. She also made up her own games as the video will show. It was nice to get away and spend time with the family. Thanks Jim for inviting us.

There Is No Job Too Big For The Gator

We had some snow on Friday, so Mallie finally got her first shot at sledding. The kids had so much fun. Barry got sick of pulling the kids on the sled, so he decided to hook it to the gator. It was fun watching them laugh and play and watching Mallie's impatience come out. You will get a sneak peak of this in the video.

The kids also have started dancing and pretending they are getting married to each other. She always wants to do everything he does. She is getting so big and talking so much. She now sings "Tinkle, Tinkle lill Star". That is how it comes out. She must be getting her 2 year molars, bc she always sleeps through the night unless she has an ear infection or teething, and she was up twice last night. I can't believe in two months they will be 2 and 4. Time just flies.

What A Great Christmas

What a busy, but fun Christmas. The kids had a wonderful time opening all of their Santa gifts. We got to visit with all of the family members on Barry's side and the kids had fun playing together. Jaxson and Reid are really good buddies and get along great for the most part. There was a mess left with all the gifts, but time will fix that. Hope everyone had a fun and wonderful Christmas like we did.

The Polar Express

Our Parents as Teachers always do fun things for Santa. This year they did a Polar Express theme. The kids got to ride a train, wrap a present, eat a snack, and or course see Santa. The kids are excited for his arrival.

Our First Dusting of Snow

We had a little bit of snow yesterday and Reid insisted on throwing his first snowball this season. So, I bundled them up and we played in what little was left of the dusting. This was Mallie's first time so she thought it was cool. Just thought I would share pictures of the LITTLE things that can thrill a child. Just to prove we don't need things to make us happy.

A Quick Month

Man it seems like yesterday was just Halloween. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. It started with the Varner get together and then my parents came up. Friday my mom and I went to Walmart and got all my shopping done and was home by 8 am. I can say I am all done!!!! That evening Chelly, Rylee, Jared, Jimmy, and Gretchen came up!! We had a great dinner and turned in early to get ready for the MU game Saturday. Man was that cold, but a pretty good time except they had to lose. They all headed out and we ended the weekend resting and enjoying one another.
Another month has also went by for little Mal-MAl. I can not believe she is 20 months old. She is such a big girl. She does more and more everyday. Her new favorite thing to do is sing. She sings E-I-E-I-O and her Abc's until the letter g. She has started watching more tv and her and Reid are such good buddies. They have a wonderful love hate relationship. Only 24 more days until Christmas!!! I am so excited and am looking forward to Santa's arrival. They kids will have so much fun openning all of their surprises.
