What A Great Christmas

What a busy, but fun Christmas. The kids had a wonderful time opening all of their Santa gifts. We got to visit with all of the family members on Barry's side and the kids had fun playing together. Jaxson and Reid are really good buddies and get along great for the most part. There was a mess left with all the gifts, but time will fix that. Hope everyone had a fun and wonderful Christmas like we did.

The Polar Express

Our Parents as Teachers always do fun things for Santa. This year they did a Polar Express theme. The kids got to ride a train, wrap a present, eat a snack, and or course see Santa. The kids are excited for his arrival.

Our First Dusting of Snow

We had a little bit of snow yesterday and Reid insisted on throwing his first snowball this season. So, I bundled them up and we played in what little was left of the dusting. This was Mallie's first time so she thought it was cool. Just thought I would share pictures of the LITTLE things that can thrill a child. Just to prove we don't need things to make us happy.

A Quick Month

Man it seems like yesterday was just Halloween. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. It started with the Varner get together and then my parents came up. Friday my mom and I went to Walmart and got all my shopping done and was home by 8 am. I can say I am all done!!!! That evening Chelly, Rylee, Jared, Jimmy, and Gretchen came up!! We had a great dinner and turned in early to get ready for the MU game Saturday. Man was that cold, but a pretty good time except they had to lose. They all headed out and we ended the weekend resting and enjoying one another.
Another month has also went by for little Mal-MAl. I can not believe she is 20 months old. She is such a big girl. She does more and more everyday. Her new favorite thing to do is sing. She sings E-I-E-I-O and her Abc's until the letter g. She has started watching more tv and her and Reid are such good buddies. They have a wonderful love hate relationship. Only 24 more days until Christmas!!! I am so excited and am looking forward to Santa's arrival. They kids will have so much fun openning all of their surprises.

Happy Halloween

The kids had a blast tonight. Mallie is already a pro. She was not scared of anything and was a good leader for Reid. He is a little shy, but did great. If you can't tell from the pictures Mallie was a monkey.

Preschool Party

Reid had his first Halloween party at school today. I am lucky to work for a little school and was able to sneak out to be with him. He was very surprised when I walked in. It was fun to be on the other side of school days.

19 Months and Counting!!!!

One more down and only 5 to go until my baby is 2. It seems like just yesterday I was meeting a new baby. She has grown up so much. Everyday she learns and says something new. She has such a temper on her too. She likes to get her way, just like her mama. Enjoy the pictures and everyone enjoy their Halloween.

Mallie Went PEE in the Potty

We got home from school today and Reid had to potty. Mallie thought she had to be a big girl too, so she had to have her diaper off. She kept it off all through supper and when she was done, she got up went to her potty chair and peed. It was so cute bc when she was done she went into her daddy and said "I peed". She was so proud of herself. I know it will be a long journey, but there's a first for everything.

Pumpkin Patch Time

Today was a beautiful day outside, so we decided to take the kids to a pumpkin patch. They had a blast. Mallie is not scared of anything. There were mazes and she was the first one through it. She has to do everything older kids do, sometimes I wonder if she even knows she is still a baby.

A Trip Home

We finally made a trip home to Hannibal. Mom had her company picnic with a carnival and lots of fun food for the kids to eat. Reid had a blast, but Mallie couldn't do much, so she didn't like it so much. She is in love with her papa. She adores him and has to know where he is at all times. Even on the way home, she was calling out for him. So sweet. Barry is finally getting a Sat off this weekend so we are looking forward to doing something as a family.

A Wonderful Day at the Zoo

We finally took the kids to the zoo yesterday. It was beautiful outside and we had a great day. Mallie enjoyed her 1st trip, despite coming home with a fever and the flu. Reid loved seeing all the animals. Both of their favorite part was feeding the goats.
